Advanced Content Editor
Building HTML content can be difficult and tedious, especially given simply a text field. The HTML required for links, images, and especially tables can be extremely confusing. To alleviate this problem, we have developed an in-line Advanced Content Editor that allows you to perform many of the actions seen in today's best Web Content programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe GoLive.
 The editor contains two views: Normal, which shows you how the HTML will look and allows you to edit your HTML content like a standard document; and HTML, which allows you to enter in your HTML code directly or displays the code that is generated from what is entered in the Normal view for editing. In HTML view, the editor acts like a standard text area, allowing you to enter all the code necessary and make any changes or corrections.
The Normal view has many advanced features that make editing your HTML content a breeze, from dragging around content to inserting table structures. Some of these advanced features include:
- Spell Check - to avoid sending out misspelled content
- EMS Field Inserts - to insert your dynamic EMS list fields
- Text Editing Features - these include bold, italic, underline, text justification, indentation, font color/size/face, and special character insertion
- Content Control - cut, copy, paste, undo and redo buttons for quick editing
The Advanced Content Editor can be selectively activated or deactivated per user in your EMS account. This option is available in the Admin section.
